On Tuesday evening (11/12/18) a number of students who have been working on the Changemakers project with The Barbican presented their work at Valence House museum. Staff, students and parents alike were very impressed by the performances of poetry and songs, as well as the exhibition of work produced by our very talented students. The project, and exhibition, celebrated Feminism and women’s suffrage. It told the story of how 189 women led to Equal Pay legislation in the Dagenham Women’s Strike it 1968. A huge well done to all students who performed, exhibited work and worked behind the scenes on this event.
